Pete Moss was born in Hertfordshire and studied Photography at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Fine Art at Goldsmiths College London.
His work has appeared in publications worldwide such as ID Magazine, The Independent Newspaper, The Sunday Telegraph Magazine, Blueprint Magazine, Creative Review, The Architectural Review, Icon Magazine, POL Oxygen Magazine, Figaro Magazine and numerous others.
He has been commissioned by major record labels Sony Music, Atlantic Records, Warners, and Virgin Records, and independent labels Factory Records, El Records, Nufonics, Bedrock and Rough Trade.
In fashion he has completed campaigns for clients such as Paul Smith and Betty Jackson.
In advertising he has shot campaigns for NatWest Bank, Sony, Rover Cars, Rimmel Cosmetics, Travel Inn and Clarkes Shoes working in the UK and the USA for agencies including Saatchi and Saatchi and BMP.
He has worked with many leading design companies including Farrow Design, North, Aboud Sudano, Tomato, Zip, Malone Design, Tank Design and Tom Hingston Studios.
Other clients include Comme des Garçons, David Chipperfield Architects, Renault, IBM, Samas, Smith Klein Beecham, Mercedes Benz, Bostonian Shoes and Keds.
In 2007 Pete Moss received an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College London.
His work has been exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery London, The V & A Museum London, PS1 Gallery New York, The Australian Centre for the Moving Image Melbourne, The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, The Museum of Photography The Hague and The South London Gallery.
His work appears in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery.
He lives and works in London.
